Be part of the student-led effort on the most chartiable day of the year. Mobilize your network. Strengthen our chapters. Shape the future of the conservative movement.

What It Is

The Giving Tuesday Team is a new, national volunteer program (virtually) bringing together student leaders from chapters across the country to power the CRNC’s Giving Tuesday success.

To start, students will be given a crash course in political and charitable fundraising. Then, they'll receive a series of small tasks to prepare for the big day. The day of Giving Tuesday, the team will serve as ambassadors for the CRNC's student-led fundraising effort! In the following days, participants will send thank-you's to donors and participate in a brief close out exercise to conclude the experience and lay the groundwork for next year's participants. This is the first year we're trying a program like this, and the students who step up now will help shape its future.

Expectations

The entire project will last two weeks, beginning November 24 and concluding December 5. Participants can expect to devote 10-15 hours total, with the majority of time spent on Giving Tuesday, November 25. Students can of course schedule around their classes and other obligations that day, but all participants will be required to do some work the day of. Outside of that, students can choose when they complete trainings and tasks.

We want this to be worthwhile for you as a student leader. Members of the Giving Tuesday Team receive more than just a line on a resume. They'll receive direct access to national staff and training, recognition for top performance, priority consideration for future national programs and opportunities, and real experience in the world of fund development.

Plus, there's a free limited edition t-shirt for all participants who complete the full program.
